SAN DIEGO –– Environmental advocates and leaders throughout San Diego County are coming together at San Diego Coastkeeper’s Celebrate Clean Water, a bayside event on Thursday, October 21, 5-7 p.m. at the Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island.
“Celebrate Clean Water is a special event for our friends and partners,” said Matt O’Malley, Coastkeeper’s executive director and managing attorney. “Our hard-won victories and accomplishments are driven by our community of dedicated supporters. After 20 months of social distancing, we’re thrilled to toast in person and reflect on the victories we’ve worked so hard to achieve.”
Celebrate Clean Water, a smaller and more intimate social gathering in lieu of their large annual fundraising event, will mark the organization’s 26th year of protecting and restoring clean water for the communities and ecosystems that depend on it.
Taking place at the beautiful Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island, guests will spend the evening outdoors overlooking the San Diego Bay during sunset. Attendees can expect to mix and mingle with environmental advocates, leaders, elected officials, and Coastkeeper supporters.
Tickets are $25 and include complimentary beverages and light refreshments. Visit the Celebrate Clean Water website to purchase tickets and learn more. Celebrate Clean Water is sponsored by Responsible Solutions, BAE Systems, and Tiffany Boyd-Hodgson for County Supervisor.
